
PROGRAMS
RECREATIONAL PROGRAM
The Sherwood Basketball Organization's Recreational Program is a league for boys and girls in grades 3 through 12 who currently live in Sherwood, OR and/or are students of the Sherwood School District. This league introduces players to the sport of basketball, with an emphasis on participation, skill development, good sportsmanship, and having fun.

Practice days during the week will vary for each team and will be held weekday late afternoon to evenings.

All practices will be located in Sherwood, OR gyms.

Youth Rec practices are scheduled to start during the week of November 17.

All teams will play games on Saturdays and will be located in Sherwood and surrounding areas.

Games will be held December through February/early March (no games during Thanksgiving or winter break).
Program fee: $TBD for 2025-26 season.
YOUTH AND HIGH SCHOOL:

Registration: Opens on August 28.

Scholarships: We will have a limited amount of full and partial scholarships available. Additional details to follow.

Refunds: To request a refund, please email us at info@sherwoodbasketball.com. We are able to issue a full refund for requests made before final team rosters are announced, which are as soon as the day after evaluations.

Player / Coach / Schedule Requests: We do not collect requests for Youth Rec as teams and schedules are at the coaches' discretion, with the latter dependent on gym availability.

CLASSIC PROGRAM
The Sherwood Basketball Organization's Classic Program is designed to offer a higher level of competition for the more experienced players. This program is open to all boys and girls grades 4 through 8 who currently live in Sherwood, OR and/or are students in the Sherwood School District.

Practice days during the week will vary for each team.

All practices will be located in Sherwood schools.

Practices are scheduled to start as early as mid-October.

Games will be held November through February/mid March.
All players who are interested in exploring competitive basketball are encouraged to register and try out. If a player is not selected for a Classic Team, he/she is automatically registered for the Recreational Program and a refund of the difference between the programs will be issued.
BOYS CLASSIC:

Registration: Opens on August 28.

Program fee: $TBD for 2025-2026 season. Fee will cover tournaments, 1 or 2 state tournaments (if team qualifies), 2 or 3 weekly team practices (based on grade level and gym availability), and uniform kit.
