Dear SBO Parents and Supporters:

Sherwood Basketball Organization (SBO) is an all-volunteer organization. Thank you to everyone who helped during the 2007-2008 season. Our success is attributed to your efforts.

If you have not turned in a coach's evaluation form please take a moment and do so. Your input is important to us as a board. You can download the forms from the "handout" page on our website at: www.sherwoodbasketball.com.

In accordance with the SBO By-laws, you are hereby notified of SBO's Annual General Board Meeting where board members will be elected and other volunteer opportunities will be assigned for the 2008-2009 season. This year's meeting is at the following time and location:

Wednesday, April 9th
8:00 p.m.
at the Sherwood YMCA

Board elections will be held in accordance with SBO By-laws. Board positions to be decided upon include, but are not limited to the following: President of SBO, Vice President Boys Classic, Vice President Girls Classic, Vice President Boys Rec, Vice President Girls Rec, Treasure, Registrar, and Secretary.

If you are interested in becoming more involved, and would like to discuss the specific duties of a board position please contact any current board member or myself.

In addition to elections, SBO will be discussing several issues, which will affect the upcoming 2008-2009 season. Please "spread the word" and tell as many people as you can about this meeting. As an all volunteer organization, we are always looking for positive input to help make our program better. I hope to see you there!
